Our Ultra-Power afterburner rings are the first thrust nozzle rings on the market based on emitter technology. Custom-designed aluminum core PCBs facilitate the mounting of high-performance emitters and the necessary heat dissipation. Additionally, a cooling rod is attached behind each emitter to ensure adequate heat dissipation during operation. Without additional air cooling, the rings can be operated continuously for approximately 1-2 minutes, so the mixing with the gas channel should only occur in the upper section.
The light output of the emitter rings is extraordinarily high and visible in a range of over 120° in all directions. Therefore it illuminates both onto the outlet and into the nozzle, significantly amplifying the effect of a glowing thrust tube.
The ring is pre-configured for operation on 2S (8V) LiPo. Please ensure sufficient airflow during operation. The high power requirements of the afterburner rings requires properly sized batteries and an efficient control system.
Each afterburner ring includes a compatible second-generation nozzle attachment. This cover provides a completely different light effect, especially recommended when the ring can be fully visible during operation.

Each ring comes with two 1m/0.5mm silicone cable, which can be connected in parallel to the controller. In 2-channel controllers, a boost effect can be created, allowing the afterburner ring to operate at maximum power in the top operational mode through both cables.
Please note that high-performance LEDs can become very warm, up to 70°C is completely normal. These heat sink mounted lights are suitable for continuous operation when air convection is possible. After installation, check the operating temperatures. We cannot guarantee against overheating.
