The RECESSED (=INTEGRATED) series lights are designed for direct installation into wings when cut-outs and coverings that match the wing shape are already in place. This means that no additional caps are included, as these follow the wing's form. This type of integration into the wing geometry is increasingly common, especially in modern aircraft.
With this series, we now offer position lights as well as combined position and strobe lights for custom installation. These DUAL lights feature a conventional bright position light and an extremely powerful strobe. The light angles extend beyond 120° through installation of the mounting plate. The 15mm version also includes a thermal fuse that prevents damage due to overheating.
The series is available in 7mm, 10mm, and 15mm variants, each offering increased performance according to the size and weight.

Please note that high-performance LEDs can become very warm, up to 70°C is completely normal. These heat sink mounted lights are suitable for continuous operation when air convection is possible. After installation, check the operating temperatures. We cannot guarantee against overheating.
