The 11mm series profile light is sleek on the outside, making it visually suitable even for smaller models. With x2 power the light has an enormous brightness and is an eye-catcher even for bigger models.
This light was designed without additional cooling elements to allow for an extremely flat and compact installation, particularly on fuselage tops, undersides, or wing tips. Therefore, this luminaire is exclusively suitable for flash mode or short blink operation. In order to ensure operational reliability of luminaire and your model, there is a thermal fuse located on the underside of the unit. If the light is used for too long and becomes too hot, this fuse will turn it off. In order to increase the life span of your lights, this function should not be relied on regularly!

The profile-shaped polycarbonate cap is only snapped on when delivered. It can be varnished separately, is highly transparent and unbreakable. Mounting the lamp is surprisingly easy: for simple surface mounting, only a 5x33mm slot is necessary, which means the lamp can also be mounted on small edge arches or the back of the fuselage. If necessary, the light can also be installed sunk in by up to 4mm, thus appearing even smaller, than it is. The cap must be glued after final assembly.
Please note that high-performance LEDs can become very warm, up to 70°C is completely normal. These heat sink mounted lights are suitable for continuous operation when air convection is possible. After installation, check the operating temperatures. We cannot guarantee against overheating. Attention: The LED lights are extremely bright! Never look directly into an LED!
