The light is delivered as a fully assembled unit on an aluminum heatsink. This extremely powerful lamp is designed exclusively for strobe purposes. To protect the light, a thermal fuse is integrated on the back, which will shut down or briefly disconnect the light if overheating occurs, allowing it to cool down.
